Research Interests

I am a master student in Prof. Dr. Florian Schiestl’s group. I have a passion for all kinds of insects, but pollinators are especially interesting to me.

Pollination biology offers an exciting context to learn more about their ecology while simultaneously working with plants, which is a new domain for me personally. My project looks at a variety of Raphanus raphanistrum populations in Switzerland and how they differ by phenotype and pollinator composition. This research includes a lot of data collection in the field, quantification of plant traits, as well as lab work and statistical analysis.
