08/2018 – current Ph.D. University of Zurich, Switzerland
Research interest: Unravelling the genomic and metabolomic mechanisms governing the Hornwort-Cyanobacterium Symbiosis. While the Model-Symbiont Nostoc punctiforme is well studied, the plant host lacks profound understanding. Thus, by using the hornwort Anthoceros agrestis as a plant model organism to study the mutualistic association, we will fill in this gap of knowledge.
Supervised by Dr. Peter Szövenyi.
06/2017 – 07/2018 Pre-Doc
Working on the transformation of the hornwort Anthoceros agrestis in the research group of Peter Szövenyi, Department of Systematic and Evolutionary Botany (ISEB) University of Zurich, Switzerland
