Genome architecture in space and time

My research is focused on evolution of genomes and supergenes. I’m interested in molecular architecture and gene regulation of the heterostyly supergene (S-locus) in di-, tetra- and hexaploid species of Primulaceae. Furthermore, I study the process of genome fractionation in polyploids which involves patterns of gene expression, gene loss and 3-dimensional structure of the genome.
