- Scientific assistant
- Project manager Swissbryophytes
Header
My research interests lie in plant biology, restoration ecology, biodiversity, and biogeochemistry of peatland ecosystems in the temperate, boreal, and subarctic zones. My work to date has focused on the restoration and rewetting of degraded peatlands through the introduction of diaspora to reestablish peatland-typical vegetation, particularly rare and endangered moss species. I have a special interest in monitoring and evaluating the species diversity and community composition of the Swiss moss species, as well as the threats posed by invasive alien species.
