This doctoral research explores the ethnobotany and medicinal potential of Boswellia species, with a particular focus on their therapeutic applications. The project includes a clinical study in Saudi Arabia assessing the efficacy of a Boswellia-based ointment in the treatment of psoriasis.

The research is conducted jointly between King Saud University (Saudi Arabia) and the University of Zurich (Switzerland).
