PODOSTEMACEAE IN AMERICA

According to Cook & Rutishauser (2007) there are 23 podostemaceous genera occurring in America. With the exception of Tristicha all of them occur exclusively in America, including the monotypic genus Weddellina that belongs to a subfamily on its own.
